Position Summary

Custodian/Maintenance is responsible for the general cleanliness in the office areas, restrooms, lunchrooms

and other areas throughout the distribution center. May assist with totes and other maintenance duties as

needed.

AutoZoner is responsible for cleaning and stocking restrooms, stripping, waxing and buffing floors, emptying

trash, cleaning windows, lunchrooms and office areas throughout the distribution center, assisting with totes

or other maintenance duties on an as needed basis, as well as other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Empty trash throughout the DC

• Clean windows, office areas, and lunchrooms throughout the DC

• Assist with totes or other maintenance duties as needed

Education and/or Experience

REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years custodial/maintenance experience

PREFERRED:

• Industrial equipment certifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to continuously bend, stoop, push, pull and walk as well as climb stairs

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work required overtime

• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,

depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus

• Ability to hear safety horns, PIE horns, pre-shift announcements/safety messages and ,

pages

• Ability to work in a Safety Sensitive environment (heavy PIE traffic throughout the

distribution center); moving conveyors, heights; maintain awareness of surroundings at

all times and quick reaction time to hazardous conditions are necessary
