Kelly Services Accounting Specialist - AR & AP in Woodland Park, New Jersey

Exciting opportunity to work for nationally recognized company. Assist the Accounting Manager/Controller with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Accounting Specialist

Temporary – 6 months

Salary $30-$35 per hour

Onsite 5 days a week

Woodland Park New Jersey 07424

Responsibilities :

Accounts Receivable:

  • Process customer cash applications via lockbox and wires.

  • Create deduction/chargebacks and apply AR adjustments, credits, and write-offs.

  • Apply key-offs to customer accounts.

Accounts Payable:

  • Code vendor invoices and process both trade and non-trade invoices.

  • Code and process travel and entertainment reports.

  • Process vendor payments, including check payments.

Month-End Close:

  • Make journal entries and reconcile bank accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (not required).

  • 3-5 years of experience in AR & AP accounting.

  • Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 software is a plus.
