JOB REQUIREMENTS: Relief Operator-CWPCo Manufacturing and Operations Wisconsin Rapids * ID: 327-382 * Full-Time/Regular Consolidated Water Power Co owns and operates five dams and (38) hydroelectric generators on the Wisconsin River. Beyond its renewable power generation portfolio, CWPCo serves as the regulated electric utility to both manufacturing sites, small industrial sites, and residential customers in its service territory. This position is in a Line of Progression and serves to provide relief for the CWPCo Dispatcher which is staffed on a 12-hour rotating shift. While providing relief for the Dispatcher, this position manages the Wisconsin River headwater elevations and power generation at each dam site, in addition to the electric distribution system owned by CWPCo. When not relieving on Dispatcher, this position works Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shift in the field working Operations, grounds keeping and/or supporting maintenance activities. * Trains with Dispatcher to operate the Company\'s Hydro Generation equipment in a safe, efficient, and regulatory compliant manner. * Trains with Dispatcher to monitor and operate the Company\'s sixteen substations and sixty miles of transmission lines. * Routinely inspects CWPCo Hydro Generation Facilities and stays current with equipment upgrades and operating changes. * Performs routine operational tasks at sites including housekeeping, raking racks, gate work, etc. * Perform monthly FERC inspections at each of our project sites. * Inspects and monitors fire and security systems at all CWPCo facilities. * Participates in training programs necessary to safely perform required work. * Expected to respond to call-ins and work overtime as needed. * Supports maintenance based upon training, skills, and abilities. All other duties as assigned by Management or Working Leaders. This position has a line of progression, the successful bidder must progress as vacancies occur in the line.
