1. Operate a tuber under the guidance of a Tuber Specialist or Lead Person, learning all aspects of setup and machine operation
2. Reads orders to determine appropriate materials and setup steps
3. Develop detailed knowledge of all tubing duties, including but not limited to:
   1. Understanding the function of all buttons, controls, and mechanical adjustments
   2. Complete understanding of the tuber antiskid, unwind and lamination section, perforation, knife section, spot paste section, tube forming section, breakoff section, and accumulator of the machine
   3. A thorough understanding of print cutoff marks, eye marks, and print register marks and how each are used to fold and cut the tubes properly
   4. An understanding of what could be considered bad print and the procedures to follow when potentially bad print is identified
   5. Knowledge on how to fold all bag styles that can be made by that tuber and check the folded bag against the order specifications
   6. Knowing how to perform and with what frequency quality checks must be performed to ensure consistent tube quality through the order
   7. Learning to communicate effectively with and delegate tasks to the Tuber Helper and Off-Bearer to achieve optimal team efficiency
   8. Develop mastery of safe, efficient change-overs with no damage to equipment\ </li>
