Barnes Group Inc Materials Handler in West Chester, Ohio

Description Core Responsibilities: Receive material in the business system and direct it to proper storage. Receive finished goods into inventory. Issue material from inventory into a manufacturing order. Print quality paper and package finished goods for shipment to customers. Conduct cycle counts on inventory and coordinate with cost accounting on disposition of discrepancies. Perform other duties as assigned Supports Company policy, procedures, and safety policy. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with other shipping personnel, as well as production personnel. Possess the ability to resolve shipping issues in a timely and effective manner. Must have good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively instructions, concepts, and solutions to all levels of employees. Must be able to schedule and organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks and functions. General computer literacy required to operate business system. Forklift certified preferred. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to perform previously stated shipping activities, duties, and responsibilities with minimal supervision, in a challenging environment are essential to job performance.
