Quality Inspector

Job Requirements:

3 - 5 years experience as a quality auditor or inspector within a manufacturing environment. Inspect, test and measure materials or products being produced. MES / ERP systems experience with regard to data control and document uploading. Experienced communicator and interpersonal skills Problem-solve skills

Organization skills Understand the importance of identification and documentation requirements. Support development or modifications to quality processes or procedures. Support overtime and work off shifts when required.

Customer-orientation Work as part of a team Organizational and co-ordination skills Communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Office skills SAP experience Experience with working varies platform programs in production, integration, and test. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Root cause analysis skills for corrective actions Experience with processes and handling of non-conforming product Composite component industry experience preferred. Associate degree with 3 years of Quality or Mission Assurance

This position is responsible for inspection of incoming, in-process, and final inspection of raw material and final hardware at our Satellites' facility in Titusville, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow written work instructions, interpret technical drawings, and follow quality control documents Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedure and regulations Perform incoming, in process, and final inspection of hardware Identify non-conformances and work with Quality Engineering and production to determine disposition Use precision measurement equipment to verify product quality such as calipers, gauges or micrometers Support the non-conformance process and secure measures for root cause analyses, corrective and preventive measures Support continuous improvements in concerned manufacturing processes to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand requirements
