This is a Regular, 40 hour per week, Full Time position with benefits.

 

 

Rate of pay starts at $14.50 per hour. After successful completion of the initial trial period, the rate of pay increases to $15.82 per hour.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES     *

RESEA is a federal program that provides intensive reemployment assistance to individuals who are receiving unemployment benefits and are determined likely to exhaust their benefits before becoming re-employed.  This position will provide RESEA services to Belmont, Carroll, Harrison and Jefferson Counties.

Follow the guidelines received from the State and DOL in accordance with the ETA Guidance Letter No. 9-19.

Attend state offered training either virtual or in-person.

Coordinate with other OhioMeansJobs Center partners to create goals and strategies for workshop delivery.

Prepare workshop schedules and agenda.

Develop and compile workshop handouts and materials.

Identify and notify participants.

Conduct Workshop Sessions with RESEA participants' in-person, or virtually during COVID-19 pandemic.

Track participant attendance.

Track evaluation process and training outcomes.

Ensure job seeker completes a needs assessment.

Maintain contact with applicants by mail, phone, email, or through Zoom (virtual) meetings.

Ensure all data is entered into the Ohio Workforce Case Management System (OWCMS).

Refer applicants to support services [e.g., community and/or OhioMeansJobs Center partner services].

Follow-up to ensure subscribed supplemental activities are completed.

Interview job seeker to determine personal and work history in order to assess skills, aptitude, physical limitations, job interest and readiness.

Develop mutually agreed upon employability plan to access employment/training opportunities and to address barriers that may negatively affect successful job search outcomes.

Review labor market information.

Review how to access employment opportunities with customer.
