Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Powertrain Cooling Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated powertrain and cooling solutions for ground combat vehicles

• Work with suppliers towards the development of the subsystems and components for the powertrain and environmental cooling systems

• Perform heat exchanger performance analysis

• Create test plans and actively lead or guide subsystem-level testing

• Direct and oversee CAD model development and drawings

• Address cost, reliability maintainability, safety, human factors in the development of design

   

  Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in the area of Powertrain Cooling

• Established knowledge of heat exchangers and fans

• Experience in CAD and Advanced simulation tools such as Matlab-Simulink and Flowmaster

• Ability to direct and lead others in a team environment

• Ability to improve existing processes in order to improve efficiency and speed

• Excellent Skills in developing technical documents and oral communication

• Only United States Citizens can be considered

• Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance
