Job Details:

Pay and schedule info: $18.05 plus $1 shift premium & $4.55 perfect attendance incentive,

2pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday. Occasional Sat work may require.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to drive yard dog and trailer safely

Desire basic mechanical skills and ability to read and write

Expect good interpersonal and communications skills, flexibility and willingness to participate in team efforts

Must be able to drive forklift in live receiving

Ability to lift 70 lbs

Must be able to pass yard dog practical examination

Withstand heat and cold

Any other duties as assigned by Manager

OPERATIONAL: Inspect oil and coolant levels in yard truck.

QUALITY ASSURANCE: Maintain live receiving times and dumpling logs.

SAFETY: Follow plant safety rules at all times. Use proper clothing in inclement weather. Be careful when walking on floors slick with fat, water, blood and other raw materials to prevent slips and falls.

This position requires basic math and computer skills.

Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork

*Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.

PreferredSkills

Heavy or non-heavy truck/trailer experience preferred but not required.

Powered industrial trucks experience preferred, but not required.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent another certificate preferred, but not required

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have a clear MVR
