Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Software Engineering, MTS / Software Engineers in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Detect and resolve system failures and complex outages, including creation of the necessary observability tooling. Monitor the services, react to problems, proactively addressing issues before they affect performance or availability, and work with Engineering teams to define service level objectives and improving service design and implementation to increase reliability through close-loop feedback. Balance proactive automation with reactive operations, and improve service design for reliability, extending monitoring and operational automation, driving self-healing and resiliency initiatives and game day exercises. Work closely with counterparts in the Infrastructure and Engineering organizations. Define immutable infrastructure across large footprints and distributed teams. Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. *Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) AWS; (2) GCP; (3) C; (4) C++; (5) Java and Python; (6) Kubernetes; (7) Go; (8) Jenkins; (9) Azure; and (10) Terraform.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $128,502.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
