Bryce Corporation Network Administrator in Searcy, Arkansas
Summary: The Network Administrator supports the health and operation of the network (hardware and software), computers, printers and devices attached to this network. They manage all file servers used to support and operate Company Applications as well as third party applications. They are responsible for maintenance of all standards and compliancy. They will perform related tasks as they relate to the network systems and assume responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and reliability of this network.
Key Accountabilities:
Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support)
Provide support to Employees and Helpdesk Personnel with problems relating to computers, network systems, printers and other devices connected to the network.
Manage computer requirements, providing improvement recommendations as to best fit and function
Manage all servers, keeping them up to date with security and other patches as well as monitor and maintain a healthy storage system
Maintain documentation as necessary for all network systems
Perform hands-on review of network environments, including network device and server configurations
Evaluate and modify system's performance, report monthly or as directed
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
Support escalations for service and break fix tickets
Work during appropriate maintenance windows
Performs all other duties as assigned
Education an Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
24x7x365 availability inclusive of on call duties, as assigned
Through knowledge of all technologies used in the setup and operation of a LAN or WAN
3 years of professional experience in Computer Networks
Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, and positive attitude
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
