Tower Products Inc. Data Analyst in Saugerties, New York

Tower Product Incorporated is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our data team. You will take responsibility for understanding our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data reporting issues. Tower’s Data Analyst should have a mathematical and/or accounting background with the ability to formulate various equations that would be used to define multiple C suite level reports. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, and an understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. Key Responsibilities:  Provide quality assurance of reporting data, working with stakeholders if necessary.  Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets for utilization in Domo and/or MS BI.  Processing confidential data and information for use in Domo and/or MS BI.  Helping develop reports and analysis.  Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, and security.  Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.  Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.  Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on Business Intelligence systems.  Generating reports from single or multiple systems.  Some troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports, primarily verifying the accuracy of reporting.  Training end-users on new reports and dashboards in Domo and or MS BI.  Providing technical expertise in conjunction with the IT team in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. Knowledge & Skill Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.  Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.  Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks or problems with data required for reporting.  Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.  Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.  Detail oriented  High-level written and verbal communication skills. EOE Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm o Occasional Weekend Day• Entry Level Position that is Not RemoteCOVID-19 considerations:Health & Safety PolicyAdherence to CDC/State Guidance*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Minimum Salary: 50,000 Maximum Salary: 55,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
