The Opportunity

USAA is seeking a direct-to-consumer Marketing Leader who will lead a team of Campaign Analysts to drive an analytical and innovative approach to audience management. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of driving business performance outcomes through developing, measuring and optimizing meaningful audience engagement and strategies. The candidate selected will manage the entire audience lifecycle from strategic planning to defining the capability roadmap for audience management for use within Adobe Marketing Systems.

This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Directs the development of marketing objectives and programs to market share and other goals for enterprise brands.

  • Designs, develops and implements marketing programs to support the organization's products, services and/or market sector.

  • Responsible for building and management of high performance Marketing team(s) including individual development, performance management, training and development, and coaching.

  • Responsible for planning and implementation of marketing programs or projects that support organizational marketing objectives for volume, revenue, profit, customer acquisitions, retention and satisfaction.

  • Oversees marketing budget associated with program or product line and ensures transparency with Business owners.

  • Identifies and develops new marketing program opportunities.

  • Plans, organizes and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of enterprise, financial, and budgetary goals.

  • Presents and communicates marketing objectives, concepts and executions to executive partners and stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Leads, influences, and collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure all deliverables fulfill requirements.

  • Collaborates with the marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segments.

  • Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with marketing sales and technical teams.

  • Uses research and analytics to develop and provide enterprise strategy to support brand and product line marketing management.

  • Develops concepts, monitors implementation and drives the application across company/business lines.

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities and staff involved developing and evaluating corporate sponsorship opportunities and events which have significant customer exposure.

  • Creates concepts, designs, and/or coding and oversee the production of highly complex and integrated visual/technical solutions either directly or through a team.

  • Plans and directs activities and staff involved in developing and evaluating major corporate sponsorship opportunities and events which may have high customer exposure and are high profile events.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • 8 or more years of progressive related experience required.

  • 3 or more years of direct team lead or management experience required.

  • Subject-matter-expert understanding of the function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required.

  • Subject-matter-expert level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

What sets you apart:

  • Intellectually curious with the ability to structure complex audience targets into relevant requirements

  • Experience implementing and operationalizing strategic technology solutions (i.e. Adobe marketing platforms, Aprimo, PEGA)

  • Knowledge of owned and paid channels (Email, Direct Mail, Outbound Call, etc.) along with processes and capabilities in support of channels

  • Knowledge of Leads based marketing, audience and performance models, audience-based data and targeting, as well as optimizing across a customer’s journey

  • Ability to influence within and across the organization

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and appropriately align resources

What we offer:

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $138,230 - $264,200 .

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
