Summary The Training Center Orientation Coordinator (Registered Nurse) supports the company's training and development objectives through assessment, mentoring and coaching of newly hired staff. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of new hire training programs within the assigned center. Works in tandem with the Director of Training and Orientation Centers, local operational leaders, preceptors and the training team to identify and meet training needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and provide training opportunities that contribute to exceptional care and unparalleled service to the patients, families, and communities we serve. This is an on-site position based out of our Renton, WA training center. Salary range $110,000 - $120,000 Responsibilities Delivers appropriate training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques through a complete understanding of training courses, content, material, and delivery method options available. Assesses learner achievements and reports on key indicators designed to measure knowledge transfer and successful application of learning. Maintains current of knowledge of state specific education requirements for assigned areas Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with local agency management and staff of assigned training center location Acts as a resource, mentor and/or coach for all staff in assigned region where the training center is located. Acts as a resource for the learner during the training/orientation process. Completes LHC required learning courses, additional assignments per Director of Training&: Orientation Centers request, as well as any state specific required training per state regulation/practice act requirements. Assists with remediation of current staff in the field and office as needed Collaborates with local agencies to conduct skills competency assessment upon initial hire and annually for all clinical staff. Collaborates with local agencies to assist with providing education to staff regarding quality improvement efforts as requested by local leadership. Participates in ongoing training for health educators, as necessary. Coordinates with Training Center Administrative Assistant and local agency leaders to track all incoming new hires and prepares for their arrival to the training center Maintains tracking data for training center regarding new hire progress during orientation and retention rates All other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Current RN licensure in state of WA. Current CPR certification required. Current Drivers License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation. Experience in delivery of training and working collaboratively across multiple disciplines. Knowledgeable of rules and regulations relevant to specific business line or area assigned. Experience in the field and office for orientation purposes (LPN, RN and TL). Ability to organize workload to provide reliable follow-through and meet timelines/deadlines. Demonstrable presentation and group facilitation skills. Ability to identify competence for tasks, jobs, and roles in business line or area assigned. Ability to interpret training needs and determine most appropriate training solutions. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
