Job Description:

We’re looking for a Sr Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to drive and support sourcing and contracting events in the low and high impact stream of Manulife Global Business Services’ procurement spend categories such as but not limited to Facilities and Real Estate, IT, (either or all of Hardware, Software, Software as a Service, Telecom), Network, Human Capital (Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Admin Operation, Payroll, Pension and Employee Benefits), Management Consulting and Professional Services, Communications, Conferences, Meetings and Events, Training, Travel and Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and / or lead sourcing initiatives in accordance with the business requirements within aggressive timelines while ensuring the integrity of the bidding process.

• Responsible in the end-to-end RFx activities.

• Formulate vendor selection recommendation (based on evaluation)

• Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with vendors.

• Conduct negotiations and secure deals that drive savings, meet and fulfill business requirements.

• Ensure projects are in compliance with internal procurement policies.

• Manage the mailbox and work intake tools to ensure timely resolution of stakeholder queries and concerns; accurate documentation of project development; and prompt communication of relevant issues and updates with business partners.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years experience in Sourcing and Procurement, preferably in the shared services industry

• Ability to review and negotiate third party contract clauses including main clauses required for specific types of agreement, Statement of Work, Project Requirements and Exhibits

• Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.· Familiarity with project management processes and Ivalua systems
