TITLE: Senior Talent Strategy Consultant II

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA (Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Company policy.)

 

DUTIES: Develop solutions to client human resource function issues including providing direction to project teams, serving as a primary client contact on projects, and writing/reviewing client presentations that include meaningful insights and recommendations for positive change. Identify target organizations in the mid-to-large market for HR transformation services. Lead discussions with prospects and clients on Mercer's HR Transformation value proposition and service offerings. Prepare proposals and present Mercer's capabilities to a wide range of prospects and stakeholders. Work to bring opportunities to successful close, negotiate final engagement terms, execute Statements of Work (SOWs), and Engagement Letters. Responsible for HR strategy development, operational assessments, readiness assessments, process redesign, HR operating model design, HR organizational design, HR shared services planning and implementation, sourcing strategies, technology enablement, vendor selections, HR operating model and technology implementation support. Manage delivery teams and ensure quality and value of project deliverables for engagements. Direct and oversee data compilation, research, and analysis performed by team members on HR transformation projects including cost and volume analysis, benchmarking, and survey results. Contribute to though leadership, sales pipeline, methodology development and team working environment and be viewed as a leader and mentor to junior staff.

 

*REQTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Information Systems, HR Management, Accounting, or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Serving as program manager overseeing large-scale projects with multiple workstreams, multi-year and global delivery teams; Working with Talent Programs including talent acquisition, talent management, rewards, career and skills development and performance; Developing new methodologies related to HR transformation and employee experience projects; Data analysis and development of reporting for external presentations related to HR Transformation / Employee Experience company research. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working on cultural transformation and employee experience / engagement projects for large organizations to identify, design, and recommend comprehensive, innovative solutions to help solve clients' complex people issues related to employee experience and skills gaps; Working with core HRMS including Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors and Oracle; Developing new intellectual capital to express company point of view, reflecting marketplace trends, and writing press articles related to those topics; Development and maintenance of client relationships including cross-selling and referrals to new prospects as well as writing proposals for new business opportunities and presenting proposed projects to executive level management; External/internal consulting related to delivery of HR transformation projects in various industries for large multinational/multilateral organizations; Preparation and delivery of in-person conference presentations for large audiences. *

 

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
