Neshoba County General Hospital-Nursing Home RN/LPN Neshoba Urgent Care PRN in Philadelphia, Mississippi

Neshoba Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our urgent care team. The Nurse will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will hold a current unrestricted Mississippi RN or LPN license and demonstrate proficiency in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, triage, treatment, and education under the direction of a physician or nurse practitioner.
  • Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, medication administration, and diagnostic testing as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and charting using electronic medical records systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and computer skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Flexibility to fill in at any Neshoba clinic as needed to support patient care and operational needs.
  • Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Demonstrate dependability and a team player attitude in working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted Mississippi RN or LPN license.
  • Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Flexibility to fill in at any Neshoba clinic as needed.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Dependable and team player attitude.
