Serenity Home Care is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). As a PCA at Serenity Home Care, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of our clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
2. Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
3. Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders according to care plans.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organization to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
5. Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
6. Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
7. Follow established care plans and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
8. Maintain documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a similar role preferred but not required.
3. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
4. Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and familiarity with ADL assistance.
5. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
6. Ability to adapt to varying schedules and environments based on client needs.
7. Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by state regulations.
8. Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
