Neshoba County General Hospital-Nursing Home Med-Surg Unit Registered Nurse in Philadelphia, Mississippi

Neshoba General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing their clinical expertise and strong communication skills. This position requires a current unrestricted Mississippi RN license and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs, and implementing nursing interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, assess changes in condition, and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Utilize electronic health records and other computer systems for documentation and information retrieval.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using medical equipment and technology to support patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted Mississippi RN license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, phone, and computer skills.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based patient care.
