Neshoba County General Hospital-Nursing Home Med-Surg Unit Registered Nurse in Philadelphia, Mississippi
Neshoba General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing their clinical expertise and strong communication skills. This position requires a current unrestricted Mississippi RN license and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs, and implementing nursing interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess changes in condition, and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Utilize electronic health records and other computer systems for documentation and information retrieval.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using medical equipment and technology to support patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted Mississippi RN license.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong customer relations, interpersonal, phone, and computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based patient care.
