Neshoba Urgent Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will hold a current unrestricted Mississippi LPN license and demonstrate proficiency in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients and visitors, demonstrating excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Utilize computer systems for documentation, electronic medical records, and communication.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to fill in at other Neshoba clinics as needed to support patient care and operational needs.
  • Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Demonstrate dependability and a team player attitude in working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted Mississippi LPN license.
  • Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Flexibility to fill in at other Neshoba clinics as needed.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Dependable and team player attitude.
