Description

Very large international construction company with US Headquarters located in Central Morris County has a great opportunity for a Director of Accounting to join their team. This is a NEW position to the company due to growth. The successful candidate with have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to the Construction or Manufacturing industries. Prefer candidates that have a CPA and come out of LARGER $500M plus revenue organizations. Position will be responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and annual closes along with the consolidations of multiple subsidiary company financials up to the parent company in Europe. Knowledge of IFRS reporting is a plus but not required. Candidates must have prior supervisory experience since this is a leadership position. Will also coordinate with Internal and External Auditors as well. Any experience with JD Edwards ERP systems is a plus but not required. Very strong Excel skills required and must have top communication skills here to present results to Sr. Management. Company is growing and this could be a good springboard to more Sr. level roles down the road here. Recent Construction or Manufacturing industry experience is REQUIRED here. Company offers a competitive salary in the $170-200K range plus bonus and excellent benefits depending on experience. The position is HYBRID with 3x a week in the office expected.
