ZOETIS SERVICES LLC Channel Marketing Manager, Cattle/Pork in Parsippany, New Jersey

Zoetis, Inc. Manages the development and implementation of a rolling three-year operating plan and one-year tactical plan for the retail/OTC channel for the U.S. cattle and pork market with team lead oversight. Assist with programs, including design, implementation, and tracking. Collaborates with the sales support team to ensure all programs are properly operationalized and executed. Manages total A&P budget with team lead oversight. Partners with internal and external groups to develop and implement initiatives that help drive short and long-term growth of the retail/OTC channel and overall Zoetis’ products and programs. Collaborates directly with retail accounts and across the team to define, implement and track seasonal promotional programs and help manage planning and in-store promotional efforts. Responsible for program tracking and reporting results to leadership. Manages forecasting efforts for secondary OTC brands within the portfolio. Regularly gauges customer insights working with market research to anticipate shifts and trends and integrate into program strategy and tactical development alongside team lead. Collaborate with Retail sales force to implement ROI focused Annual Account plans. Approaches accounts from a strategic standpoint to develop a partnership and achieve the OTC/Retail Strategy’s longterm mission. Actively identifies synergies and efficiencies across species and provide a unique One Zoetis view that helps identify new opportunities, challenges and innovations for Zoetis. Collaborates with product managers to ensure key program alignment and execution. Manage digital and eCommerce initiatives within the retail/OTC space for US Cattle and help drive customer engagement and participation. Maintains key program applications to ensure data and structure are kept up to date. Acts as a liaison between the US internal distribution marketing team and US cattle team to facilitate partnership opportunities and ensure campaigns are executed timely and effectively. Leads strategic discussions among channel partners with autonomy Collaborates across franchise teams to defines, implements and tracks seasonal promotional programs. Develops and maintains an understanding of the cattle markets, customers and competitive dynamics. Manages and maintains ongoing relationship with agencies and other partners and suppliers to ensure productive partnerships and timely interaction and follow through. Domestic travel required 20% of the time. Telecommuting may be permitted, when not telecommuting, must report to work site. Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Animal Science, Agriculture Business, Agricultural Economics or related and 1 year of experience required.
