REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree required(transcripts must be provided) Must be at 21 years of age Scouting background is helpful but not required. Valid drivers license and ability to be insured is required (BFOQ will be required to travel throughout an assigned territory). Criminal and vehicle background check as well as reference check upon offer of employment. Must live within the assigned territory. JOB DESCRIPTION: District Executive will serve as the manager and operating officer of the district (Calhoun, Jackson, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood in WV and Athens and Washington in OH) Will work with a unit and district level volunteer and other community and business leaders to identify, recruit, train, guide, and inspire them to become involved in youth programs. Ensure all program sites are served through volunteers, regular leader meetings, training events and activities. Ensure financial needs of the organization are met. Be a good role model and recognize the importance of working relationships. Strong communication skills, marketing, fundraising or sales experience is a plus. Fulfill additional council staff assignments as required. Work schedule is Monday through Friday with evening and weekend availability. Salary range $38,000 - $44,000.
