This position is for a Warehouse Associate (Olive Branch) with a company located in Olive Branch, MS.

Summary: This role will be responsible for the work flows in the areas of receiving, picking and packing/shipping. This position doesn't require forklift skills or knowledge but it does require basic computer skills and interest.

Duties & Responsibilities Include: Accurately picks, packs, ships, and receives materials utilizing barcode and scanner technology along with an automatic material handling system; all driven by software and computerized systems Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required; this again requires barcoding and scanning with an attention to detail to avoid errors The receiving area requires bagging activities involving many small parts; each part is identified by a unique barcode which must be applied during receiving. Some heavy lifting is involved. The picking stations are based on a goods to man concept involving the latest pick to light technology The shipping station are based on goods to man concept as orders are conveyed to the ship station. Errors can be made in this area so attention to detail is paramount. Some heavy lifting in involved Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents Performs other job duties as may be assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications Include: High School diploma or equivalent required Working knowledge of computerized system or computer skills is required Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision. Requires lifting parts weighting up to 50 pounds.
