Citigroup Learning Design & Development Analyst (Telecommuter) in O'Fallon, Missouri

The Learning Design & Development Analyst is a content authoring role that integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and writing principles to drive performance. The role requires deep understanding of how principles of performance-based learning aid in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/job family. A key competency is the ability to break down information in a systemic and communicable manner, based on predetermine frameworks and taxonomies. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in the handling of potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact, through close contact with the businesses' core activities is required. The ability to focus on quality and timeliness, at both an individual and team level, is imperative. Additionally, this role may work in an adaptive, self-managed, cross-functional Agile development team where additional duties may arise including, but not limited to:

  • Support the intake of new learning request through consulting and needs analysis as well as implementation of final product (including building and influencing key relationships across HR, L&D and the business); measure business outcomes.

  • Supporting design and development of training solutions using a variety of learning tools and modalities in partnership with business and learning partners

  • Observing and/or facilitating created curricula in both classroom and virtual environments and collaborating with key partners to ensure learner success

Responsibilities:

  • Determines and develops appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.

  • Participates in the program design process by assisting with: needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with subject matter experts to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents including story boards and mock-ups.

  • Contributes to development by: constructing end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation

  • Creates measurement strategy for client solutions to include the overall assessment approach.

  • Designs and develops of data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.

  • Is responsible for all other duties assigned.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$57,780.00 - $80,620.00
