The Counseling and Career Services office at Northwestern State University is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Job Location and Development Officer (JLDO). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate sound self-management, interpersonal, organizational and program management skills.

Job Concepts

The JLDO administers an effective program with the goal of providing part-time, private sector jobs for qualified Northwestern State University students wishing to work while pursuing their degrees. This person will serve as a liaison between NSU and businesses in the local and surrounding communities, identify and develop job placement opportunities for part-time employment for students and communicate employment related information to students and businesses. This person will manage the office of Job Location and Development according to the Federal and State of Louisiana guidelines and assist with meeting the goals and objectives of Counseling and Career Services.
