Public Areas Department. This position is responsible for the direct oversight of daily activities including: 

• Directing maintenance programs of a designated group to ensure clean and attractive public environment.
• Recommending, documents and issues discipline.
• Responsible for assigning and oversight of public area services staff.
• Responsible for direct supervision, evaluation and training of staff.
• Inputting requisitions for supplies and equipment.
• Assisting in establishing standards and procedures for ensuring cleaning needs and excellent service.
• Performing duties/functions of Public Area Manager in his/her absence.
• Promoting outstanding customer relations.

A successful candidate for this position will possess a high school Diploma or equivalent and have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Previous experience cleaning public areas is required. Hospitality cleaning is preferred. An understanding of sanitization standards is helpful. In addition, this position will frequently carry up to 50lbs and perform repetitive motion tasks. Candidates should be prepared to be standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift.
