Gene's Tire Center is looking for an automotive technician who is trained to diagnose, maintain, and repair cars and other small motor vehicles. They will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and replacing parts, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicles such as changing oil, checking fluids, and lubricating parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Examine vehicles and diagnose problems.

Develop and implement repair plans.

Test and adjust parts and systems to meet manufacturer specifications.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint areas of concern.

Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.

Provide customer service and answer customer questions.

Maintain records of repairs and services.

Order necessary parts and supplies.

Keep shop and work area clean and organized.

Training and Education:

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and vocational school training in automotive repair and maintenance.
