Job Opportunity - Retail Associate

**The Mower Store is looking to add a Retail Associate / Service Writer to the team! This is a full-time position with room for growth in the company.

The Mower Store is located at 134 Koehler Road in Martinsville, VA, right behind Sportlanes. We sell and service Husqvarna, Masport, SCAG, Stihl, Toro, and Ventrac equipment.**

The person we are looking for will have the following characteristics/skills:

• A positive and winning attitude and the ability to work well with others
• Must have strong computer skills - (mostly typing, researching, and locating part numbers)
• Ability to ask customers questions in order to effectively write a service or repair ticket
• Must be comfortable talking to customers in person and on the phone
• Must be professional, punctual, well-spoken, and friendly
• Must be able and willing to sweep, mop, and take out trash in the showroom and restroom
• Must be coach-able and able to follow directions from store managers for special projects

Advantageous, but not required:

• Retail and sales experience (handling money, answering customers questions, etc)
• Experience operating outdoor power equipment
• Having a basic knowledge of mowers, blowers, trimmers, saws, and tractors Ability and willingness to assemble handheld power equipment
• Ability to help customers load equipment on their vehicle

**Our hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm with a required weekly meeting at 8:15 on Monday mornings.

The hours for this position will be between 40 - 45 hours each week.

Pay based on experience and performance.**
