Job Opportunity - Mechanic/Technician

**The Mower Store is looking to add an Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic/Technician to the team! This is a full-time position with room for growth in the company.

The Mower Store is located at 134 Koehler Road in Martinsville, VA, right behind Sportlanes. We sell and service Husqvarna, Masport, SCAG, Stihl, Toro, and Ventrac equipment.**

The person we are looking for will have the following characteristics/skills: A positive and winning attitude and the ability to work well with others Mechanic experience is desired, but not required Willing to train the right candidate Must have your own mechanic tools Must be professional and punctual Must be able to talk to customers on the phone in a professional and friendly manner Basic computer skills required

• Typing
• Researching repairs
• Searching parts diagrams to locate the needed parts

Must have at least a basic knowledge of mowers, blowers, trimmers, saws, and tractors Ability to assemble handheld power equipment, mowers, tractors, and attachments Must be able to sweep, mop, and take trash out as-needed in the shop Ability to help customers load mowers and other power equipment on their vehicle as-needed Abilityto safely lift 50 lbs Must be coach-able and be able to follow directions from shop supervisor and store manager Willingness to do whatever it takes to get customers equipment repaired in a timely manner

**Our hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm with some optional Saturdays when we get backed up. The hours for this position will be 40+ hours each week.
