Job Opportunity - Auxiliary Role The Mower Store is looking to add an Auxiliary Associate to the team! This is a full-time position with room for growth in the company. This person will be responsible for unloading/receiving/organizing freight, assembling mowers, tractors, and attachments, pickup and delivery of equipment to and from customers, and general property maintenance including mowing, trimming, spraying fence lines, cleaning gutters, etc.

The Mower Store is located at 134 Koehler Road in Martinsville, VA, right behind Sportlanes. We sell and service Husqvarna, Masport, SCAG, Stihl, Toro, and Ventrac equipment.

The person we are looking for will have the following characteristics/skills:

• A positive and winning attitude and the ability to work well with others
• Must be physically healthy and strong enough to pick up 75 lbs
• Have decent computer skills to check in shipments as they are received
• Must have a clean driver's license and the ability to safely pull up to a 30-foot trailer
• Must be punctual, well-spoken, and friendly
• Must be able and willing to clean our showroom, shop, and restrooms as needed
• Must be coach-able and able to follow directions from store managers for special projects

Advantageous, but not required:

• Ability to talk to customers in person and on the phone in a professional and friendly manner
• Power equipment operating experience
• Having a basic knowledge of mowers, blowers, trimmers, saws, and tractors
• Ability and willingness to assemble handheld power equipment
• Ability to help customers load equipment on their vehicle
• Construction or property maintenance experience (mowing, cleaning gutters, etc.)

Our hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm with a required weekly meeting at 8:15 on Monday mornings. The hours for this position will be between 40 - 45 hours each week.
