ManpowerGroup CNC in Marquette, Michigan

CNC - Manufacturing Facility - $18.75 per hour. 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

  • 1 st shift training

  • Long term temporary, no end date.

  • Could be perm for the top performers.

  • CNC certifications not required, but experience is preferred.

  • Look for background in technical industrial- machining, welding, fabricating, etc.

  • MUST have good computer skills.

  • No programming of machines, just running them.

  • Operates computer numerically controlled equipment in a production setting

  • Manufacture production parts with focus on attaining production schedules

  • Perform in-process quality checks utilizing proper inspection methods, procedures and equipment

  • Document shop order and inspection data in conformance with Quality systems

  • Post production data accurately using SAP software and additional operational systems

  • Maintain machine to appropriate manufacturer recommendations to ensure safe machine operations (i.e. lubrication levels, scrap material removal)

  • Monitors equipment and performs light machine maintenance while minimizing machine downtime

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with general shop safety and OSHA requirement

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to begin working.

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.

  • Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

  • May participate in making management decisions affecting the work.

  • Team leaders who work as part of the team should be included.

  • Other duties as assigned.
