Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Marion, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Level 5 / Robotics Technician

Job Description

As a Robotics Technician, you will be tasked with preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. You will troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, robotics, and control failures. You will perform advanced maintenance procedures on all plant equipment including AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controls, power distribution systems, computer hardware, minor mechanical adjustments, and equipment/part replacement.

Hard Skills

  • Robotic Troubleshooting experience-preferred ABB

  • PLC Troubleshooting

  • 480 3 phase

  • Motor Control Experience

  • Electrical schematics and blueprints

Job Type

This is a direct hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position on Day Shift in Grant County, Indiana.

Work Environment

There are 2 openings available on a day shift (7am-7pm). The facility is a climate-controlled food manufacturing plant with a workforce of 650 people, which is expected to grow as more production lines are added. The maintenance team is composed of 15 people, including 3 supervisors and 4 leads. In this role, you will be required to wear a hair and beard net, as the facility produces food products such as cakes, muffins, and croissants.
