This Position is for a Maintenance Generalist - 1st Shift  with a company in Forest.

Job Summary: This posting is for the Mechanic Maintenance Position, ME04, in the Forest Live Haul Truck Stop Department of Jackson Grow Out. It is scheduled for 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. Flexible scheduling is required. Holiday and Weekend work may be required as well. The base pay is $25.85 per hour. This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies.

Duties And Responsibilities: This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies.

Education and Qualifications:  Must have a minimum of 4 years of maintenance or mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of a maintenance or mechanic program. This can be a combination of employers and education as long as the total is 4 years or more. Replace all accessory parts on truck (i.e., starter, water pump, air compressor, clutch, adjust clutch, u- joints, transmission, rear diffs, service a/c, and truck suspension. Assist with major trailer repairs. Identify bolt grades and types. Hydraulic systems diagnose and repair, hydraulic fitting identification.  EPA air conditioning certification.  Brake certification (written test score of 80%).  Available for service calls. Tool Requirement: Everything up to 1/2" drive. A MS CDL Class A is required.
