THE CHALLENGE

The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a key role on the Supply Chain Talent Development (“SCTD”) Team. This role will manage the administrative and logistical needs of the Manufacturing Training Center, manage the administrative and logistical needs of Monogram Hall and support the SCTD team on projects.

How You'll Create Possibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage the administrative and logistical needs of the Manufacturing Training Center (MTC).

  • Manage and update room booking calendar for training and meetings.

  • Own and update the Manufacturing Training Center’s training schedule and SharePoint site.

  • Ensure room set up for training and special events including materials, catering services, lodging accommodations, transportation requirements, AV needs, and other related needs.

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks like document management, copying, maintaining online folders and libraries.

  • Manage relationships and ensure contract adherence with key MTC vendors (cleaning service, caterer, rug provider, water, etc.).

  • Manage P-card and POs for Supply Chain Talent Development team

  • Maintain and ensure organization, training supplies, and inventory of MTC storage areas.

  • Prepare and process expense reports and purchase orders in accordance with established policy guidelines; ensure the timely and accurate processing of expenses.

Manage the administrative and logistical needs of Monogram Hall

  • Manage and update Monogram Hall booking calendar for training and meetings.

  • Coordinate with Park Movers to ensure room set up for training and special events

  • Troubleshoot and provide service on AV needs, and other related needs.

  • Manage relationships and ensure contract adherence with key Monogram Hall vendors (cleaning service, caterer, rug provider, water, etc.).

  • Serve as a general facility manager for Monogram Hall.

Support the SCTD team on projects

  • Support the external workforce development projects and initiatives.

  • Support coordination, organization, and execution of all external workforce efforts, such as Summer Works, KYFAME, MAP, JCPS Academies partnership, and Junior Achievement

  • Support coordination of Supply Chain Salaried Orientation, team leader training and ABL training

What You'll Bring to Our Team

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

  • Must be enthusiastic about answering and helping employees; must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Logistics coordination is a major part of this role, so successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in organization and time management techniques

  • Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new and adapt to new technologies
