Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION/ OVERVIEW:

The Administrative Assitant/Event Planner is responsible for developing, facilitating and maintaining a full schedule of events and activities for the members. This includes planning, coordination and execution of all clubs, classes and activities including times and locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee overall atmosphere of clubhouse, and the enjoyment of members and guests.

  • Responsible for clubhouse usage.

  • Administration of budgets, schedules, office operations, maintenance, and housekeeping. These items include both long and short-term operations.

  • Coordinate, train, schedule, and manage staff for office, events, shows, and maintenance.

  • Responsible for safety of members, guests, and associates when on premises of participating in activities.

  • Plan, coordinate, schedule, and execute the community newsletter. Responsible for all information within and coordinating sponsorships.

  • Responsible for all monies, including ticket sales, petty cash, and other income.

  • Maintain all signage within clubhouse, including displays, club boards, and general information.

  • Coordinate partnerships with outside organizations.

  • Responsible for new member orientations.

  • Responsible for coordination of clubhouse room rentals.

  • Help with administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Accurate and attentive to detail

  • Proficient computer (Excel and Word)

  • General knowledge of clubhouse operations

  • Ability to problem solve and diplomatically handle customer issues

EDUCATION :

BS degree and 1-3 years’ experience in event planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience
