JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of this position is to operate a Commercial Truck in a safe and profitable manner hauling material on a jobsite. Works in a manner to achieve the company goal; One Team, One Mission: Safety, Quality, Production. II. Description of Tasks: The following is an abbreviated list of tasks: Operates the vehicle in a safe and economical manner to insure the lowest possible operational and maintenance cost. Never operates an unsafe vehicle. Must be able to accurately complete log books and vehicle inspection reports. Maintains current DOT personnel records with Human Resources Alerts Shop of any needed repairs through documentation on vehicle inspection reports. Complies with the departmental and company procedures Ability to climb into and out of truck bed Manually clean and remove debris from inside bed and undercarriage of chassis Work safely, wear applicable PPE and notify supervisor of any potentially unsafe situations Maintain a neat and orderly work area/truck Remain productive for the entire work day Maintain personal appearance in accordance with company policy Show a willingness to learn job site goals and company-wide goals Perform any other job site functions, as needed

III. Prerequisites For Position: Formal Education: None required, High school diploma or equivalent preferred Skills Required: Ability to listen and follow instructions as given Demonstrate cooperative mannerisms to fellow-workers, foreman, and customers JOB DESCRIPTION - DRIVER-JOB SITE Consistently arrives for work at the scheduled time Follow proper procedure for absences from work Must possess a valid CDL drivers license and DOT medical card Maintain an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle driving record Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
