Event worker

PeopleReady of Lake Elsinore  , CA is now hiring Event workers! The Event Staff is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of events by performing a variety of tasks, including managing parking areas, taking tickets, setting up booths, and providing information to attendees. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $18 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Event worker:

• Assisting with site setup, working under the mentorship of the event manager

• Taking pride in the details of customer service

• Unload trucks and put equipment in staging areas where it will be erected or assembled

• Building tents, putting up the pipe and drape configuration that creates trade show booths, setting up tables and chairs

• Assisting with take down of events, taking inventory of all items and packing them so they are ready for easy use at the next event

Job requirements:

• Experience working with events or other fast-paced industry preferred

• Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment

• Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time

• Background check and drug screening required

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in customer service or event-related roles is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform manual tasks as needed.

• The role involves working outdoors and indoors, depending on the event

• Exposure to various weather conditions when working outdoors.

• Requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.

• Training will be provided for specific event procedures and safety protocols.

• Uniforms or dress codes may be required depending on the event.
