HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Combo Welder /Fitter to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This team member is responsible for performing fit up welding applications as required by job specifications with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW, as well as performing pre-welding operations with such equipment as saws, shears, automated cutting equipment, etc.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Industrial Manufacturing Shop –covering 24/7, 365 needs.

LOCATION OF WORK: La Porte, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations as required by job specifications with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW.

• Perform pre-welding operations with saws, shears, automated cutting equipment for shaping and preparation.

• Assist in dimensional verification checks.

• Perform advanced fabrication, documents measuring, etc.

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

• Adhere to company policies, practices, and procedures.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience Skills & Experience:

• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Must have completed and passed a 6G test on carbon steel.

• Must be able to read engineer drawings/blueprints.

• Must be able to pass NDE inspections (i.e. X-Ray, Mag Particle, Dye Penetrant)
