JOB REQUIREMENTS: Memory Care Activity Specialist Full-Time: Primarily Monday Friday, daytime hours Memory Care Activity Specialist Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Memory Care Activity Specialist to join the Life Enrichment team at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse, WI. This person will host activities in large and small group programs as well as one-on-one activities. What You\'ll Do - Responsible for the development, coordination, and oversight of the activities for the 4 Memory Care units - Facilitate 4-6 programs, daily - Create a weekly activity schedule for the Recreation Aides and have those activities prepared on the proper days - Communicate daily with coworkers, residents, families and representatives - Responsible for partnering with the Life Enrichment Coordinator as well as other team members for daily execution of activities - Support/manage Recreation Support Aides, ensuring they meet the requirements of the position - Partner with volunteers - The successful candidate will uphold the Mission Statement of Bethany Lutheran Homes, Inc. and performs all duties in a manner consistent with Bethany Lutheran Homes, Inc. What You\'ll Need - Degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field is highly preferred, but candidates with equivalent experience will be considered - A genuine interest in working with the elderly and the ability to maintain familiarity with each participant\'s unique likes and dislikes, needs and abilities, a must - Leadership or supervisory experience, beneficial - Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Valid driver\'s license with a responsible driving record, required Our Wages - Based on qualifications and previous experience - We pay for high performance!
