In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

The Multi-Domain SIGINT (MDS) Product Area is seeking an experienced program manager for a highly strategic, newly awarded Cost Type classified Program of Record; leading the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) for our Multi-Function Processor (MFP) subsystem solution and integration with prime platform. Advancing our Multi-Function Open Systems (MFOS) strategy to leverage and proliferate discriminating BAE technology. In this role you will work closely with the customer and multiple BAE business areas throughout the program to include cross BA related efforts and follow-on proposal activities.

This position is within the Advanced Communications and Sensing (AC&S) product line, reporting directly to the MDS Product Area Director and will be responsible for a newly awarded Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) development program to rapidly field open architecture hardware hosting multiple classified skills in high volume.

This role will be based in Hudson, NH, with the potential for hybrid remote work when on-site presence is not required. The role will require a security clearance (TOP SECRET) on day one.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience leading mid/large teams on development efforts of significant complexity to include transition to production

  • Demonstrated professionalism and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to interface and negotiate with, and present to a variety of stakeholders including coworkers, Sr. Leadership, customers, and suppliers.

  • Demonstrated program/project management skills in defense contracting. Strong understanding of Program Management discipline requirements and procedures. Working knowledge of defense contract types and the risk associated with each.

  • Experience leading development and integration efforts. Familiarity and experience with development, integration and test strategies and approaches.

  • Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a projects or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

  • Provide proactive cross function leadership of a key strategic portfolio to achieve customer commitments and business growth expectations.

  • Demonstrate visible leadership across the portfolio, leading by example to deliver program performance excellence.

  • Execute using Earned Value Management techniques and other analytical industry best practices for performance management.

  • Communicate effectively and work cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization to achieve results.

  • Actively develop and execute a strategy to support the integrated business and technology growth plan.

  • Lead through inspiration and encouragement and foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement on the program team to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable outcomes.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and a TOP SECRET security clearance on Day One.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Track record of success in proposal preparation, planning and executing complex development programs

  • Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage assigned program(s)

  • Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.

  • Demonstrate visible leadership across the program leading by example and driving program performance excellence

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers

  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others.

  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic setting, set goals, hold persons accountable, and ensure team-members have what they need to be successful.

  • Business acumen mindset, awareness within and outside the business

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of duties and in external interactions

  • Actively manage customer and stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes for all parties

  • Review and monitor metrics on the projects and provide support as required to the product area director

  • Experience developing and delivering winning proposals

  • Ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearance level

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master s degree in a technical or business related discipline

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification

  • EMD (Engineering and Manufacturing Development) phase leadership

  • Developing strategies and proposals for new business pursuits

  • Defense industry/acquisition experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
