The Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD) has an immediate opening for dedicated Kitchen Staff in Hancock, Michigan.

*WHAT WE OFFER. *

• $16.00 or more per hour starting pay based on experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Assist in preparing the kitchen for serving meals.
• Receive prepared food from our vendor and ensure its proper storage and handling.
• Serve meals in our common multi-purpose room while adhering to ServSafe guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Follow food safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Complete reports/paperwork as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• 18 years of age or older and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working in a kitchen or food service environment preferred, but not required.
• ServSafe certified, or willingness to complete training to become certified is required.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
