A-1 General Contracting & Interior Finishes, a residential and commercial construction and remodel service company, seeks a Construction Project Manager to join their team in Hancock, Michigan. WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Coordinate with general contractor, sub-contractors, and internal team to schedule projects, allocate staff, and determine timelines on appropriate projects.
• Identify, coordinate, and track building materials for construction projects.
• Track time, costs, and vendors per project.
• Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with clients and projects teams.
• Follow-up with clients after project completion to determine satisfaction and explain warranty guarantee.
• Build/remodel projects are located mainly in Houghton County, Keweenaw County, and immediate surrounding areas in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
• Travel locally to job sites and client meetings in a company provided vehicle as needed. (Approximately 5% of time).

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $20 -- $25 per hour starting pay based on your knowledge and experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Construction/building industry and scheduling experience preferred. In lieu of experience, we will train someone that is highly motivated with an exceptional understanding of residential and/or light construction projects.
• You are detailed, organized, and able to maintain multiple schedules/projects simultaneously.
• You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships, and excel in providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, email, calendar) required; experience with QuickBooks is helpful and preferred.
• You are dependable, ethical, and a good communicator.
• Ability to successfully complete a background and reference check.
