The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department for the Town of Garner is seeking an experienced, energetic, group fitness instructor for its adult exercise program.

Examples of Duties:

Teach exercises that can modified to fit all abilities, fitness and skill levels.

Ensure participant safety by monitoring techniques and equipment usage.

Make sure everyone leaves class feeling successful!

Be patient, safety-conscious, professional, reliable, and friendly!

Minimum Qualifications:

All applicants must have previous experience teaching fitness classes.

Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain CPR certification within 6 months of hire is required.

Must be available to lead weekly sessions during the morning or evening hours.

Preference will given to applicants that hold a nationally recognized group fitness certification.

Additional Information:

Pay rate will vary depending on the teaching experience and program registration.
