Field Inspector

PeopleReady of Ft. Myers, FL is hiring Field Inspectors. The ideal candidate will be going to job sites and documenting progress and completion of the projects. This is going to be a long term full-time assignment for the right candidate.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.50 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Field Inspector:

• Perform a variety of daily field visits

• Inspections, including but not limited to, properly documenting construction work performed using photographs, notations and other means

• Necessary for TTC to verify performance and completion of the job assigned.

• Record daily production with accuracy for various Construction work activities.

• Review and evaluate Construction engineered drawings/plans to verify work being inspected is

• in accordance with construction standards and requirements.

• Measure job footages using hand wheel, open and close hand-holes, pipes, duct access to meter rooms and buildings or rear easements and visibly inspect poles or trees.

• Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.

• Serve as a liaison for the neighboring residents or businesses where work is being performed.

• Communicate with the customer for access/entry to the jobsite, place door tags on

• homes/businesses where work is being performed, communicate and inform public/residents the

• purpose for the work being performed, diffuse any misunderstandings regarding the work or

• disturbance to residential areas/businesses,

• Promptly report findings of jobsite inspections to employer as well as customer complaints (and maintain records of such complaints).

Shift timings -  1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk under outdoor (hot or cold) temperatures.

Must have a valid Driver's License

• 2 Years of Field Inspector experience preferred
