Director Paid Media

PRIMARY PURPOSE : Directs data-driven digital and social paid media in support of lead generation or talent acquisition efforts, applies deep analysis to optimize campaigns, and builds strong relationships with internal and external partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and implements data-driven paid media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and business goals.

  • Purchases digital, including search and social media, in support of lead generation or talent acquisition efforts.

  • Analyzes and translates campaign performance data insights into actionable recommendations; deploys A/B tests and performs analytics to optimize campaigns.

  • Partners with external media platforms, such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, to stay updated on ad products and best practices.

  • Establishes and communicates best practices for digital and social asset creation to internal stakeholders.

  • Participates as needed in customer segmentation and targeting initiatives with leadership.

  • Stays ahead of industry trends and identifies new opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and platforms.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key media partners and vendors.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Travel as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years of related experience, to include deep familiarity with paid search, digital and social media buying in house or at a known digital agency, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of emerging ad tech trends

  • Ability to navigate the ad tech space including programmatic buying, data management platforms, and advanced targeting techniques

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Analytical and interpretive skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
