*POSITION TITLE:          *Loan Operations Specialist (Full-time with benefits)              

*DEPARTMENT OR BRANCH LOCATION: *       Doylestown Executive Office

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process loan purchase advices and prepare and send out letters to customers, monitoring vendors and insurance companies.  Perform maintenance on the core system for sold loans. 
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties such as balancing various accounts, reviewing information on new loans, and preparing and distributing various reports in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Provide core system loan support to Loan Servicing Team Lead and other departments/bank employees.  Work with the Loan Servicing Team Lead to develop and maintain new product types, codes, menus, modules, etc. within the system.  Create cases and work with the core system vendor to resolve issues and develop new options within the system. 
  • Process participation loan transactions including applying incoming loan payments, sending out payment advices to participants, and wiring funds. 
  • Perform a variety of customer service duties by researching loan files, performing cold storage and imaging research, providing loan payoffs and payment information, and providing technical loan support by assisting loan officers with problem loans or loan documentation exceptions in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review Change of Interest Rate and Payment Notices, process foreclosed loan entries and private mortgage insurance items, and provide back-up support for tax and insurance escrow account processing.
  • Constructively interact with coworkers.  

HOURS will average approximately 40 per week, M-F. This position is budgeted for 2,080 hours per year.

*JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: *

  • Ability to use a personal computer.
  • Ability to use job-related software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use general office equipment, such as a 10-key calculator, copier, fax machine, et cetera.
  • Basic bookkeeping and accounting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of current lending laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience. (preferred)
  • Six months job-related experience. (preferred)
