Description

We are seeking a skilled MAC Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting Apple devices within an enterprise environment. This role requires proficiency in JAMF, Tanium, and enterprise MAC management. The MAC Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, security, and optimization of our MAC infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for MAC users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.

• Manage and deploy MAC devices using JAMF Pro.

• Utilize Tanium for endpoint management and security.

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management for MAC systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MAC operating systems and applications.

• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security protocols.

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new MAC hardware.

• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations.

• Train end-users on MAC functionalities and best practices.

• Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MAC Support Technician or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of MAC OS and Apple hardware.

• Proficiency in JAMF Pro for device management.

• Experience with Tanium for endpoint security and management.

• Familiarity with enterprise MAC environments and associated challenges.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certified) are a plus.
