Essential functions (job duties):

Job Purpose:

Provides frontline customer service (in-person, phone and email) through daily interactions with students, faculty, guests and staff. Provides general clerical support for the daily operation of satellite center, including generating reports, mail, filing, collection of data, inventory of supplies, and special projects. Provides general computer-related set-up and troubleshooting for faculty, students and guests.

Essential Duties:

Answers the phone and other inquiries (i.e. walk-ins, email, and website).

Assists the public, students, and guests with inquiries related to academic programs, advising and student services offered at the satellite center.

Assist faculty with classroom set-up and/or issues (i.e. media equipment, faculty requests, technology).

Assist professional staff with processing enrollment data each semester and provide reports.

Open and close the facility and maintain a secure environment.

Occasional Duties:

Assist with special University programs and events (i.e. open houses, informational meetings, training sessions, etc.)

Participates in training or meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent combination of education/experience. A strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to adjust schedule at times depending on the needs of the facility. Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel software; ability to create spreadsheets.
