About the Team

DoorDash’s New Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars ⁠— DashMart, our grocery and convenience delivery offering. We’re building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. The Warehousing as a Service team brings the full power of DashMart to customers with new use cases and new lines of business that will operate within our real estate.

About the Role

As a specialist on the team, you will support the growth of DashMarts Warehouse as a Service (WaaS) initiatives by utilizing internal tools to build new menus and stores, enabling new item launches via analytics and ticket submissions, and supporting our live concepts by enacting strategic menu changes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and highly analytical, and enjoys collaborating with a team to solve problems. This position is crucial to the success of the team, as the execution of these tasks directly impacts what customers interact with on the DoorDash platform!

You will report into the Associate Manager, WaaS Systems on our Warehousing as Service team in our New Verticals organization

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Enable new concept launches by owning new menu builds end-to-end for 100’s of new stores a week. As owner of menu builds, you’ll also have the opportunity to refine and change the building process as you see fit!

• Collaborate closely with the entire WaaS team and several cross-functional teams including engineering, sales - account management, warehouse operators, and supply chain

• Work on highly-analytical projects to ensure that our new stores and items have the upmost chance of success, and work to pivot strategies if needed post-launch

• Solve new problems as they arise through collaboration and trial and error, enabling the business to continue scaling

• Directly impact the customer experience on the DoorDash platform on a daily basis, driving more selection, availability, and clarity while shopping

  We’re excited about you because…

• You have strong data analysis skills, including proficiency with Google Sheets and a basic understanding of SQL. Google Sheets proficiency should at minimum encompass the ability to write moderately complex formulas (index, match, if, vlookup, etc)

• You enjoy utilizing data and professional relationships to improve processes, get answers, and complete tasks.

• You have strong cross-functional skills and have experience working with multiple teams to get answers and solve problems.

• You have 2+ years experience working in a technical role utilizing internal tooling to execute tasks and perform high-level analyses.

• You’re comfortable using dashboarding tools like Tableau, Sigma, Power BI to read and interpret data.

• You’re passionate about customer experience, especially as it relates to ecommerce and the DoorDash platform.

• You’re comfortable working autonomously to solve problems as they arise

• You’re extremely detail oriented and understand the value of auditing, documenting, and following through on assigned work

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

Colorado Pay Range:

$28 — $42 USD

New York Pay Range:

$31.10 — $46.70 USD
